My passion lies in making great, enjoyable software that is usable by everyone. With over 15 years of experience in creating both small and big mobile applications, I always strive to find the essence of the app — the reason people are using it — and make that as easy and frictionless as possible.

Accessibility

Software is at its greatest when it can be used by everyone. Accessibility is a very big part of this, making sure that even people that have different technical needs can use the app with ease.

I always keep the WCAG 2.2 AA, making sure that everyone is considered. By shifting left, I make sure accessibility stays up front during design, development and testing. This ensures fully accessible apps that remain, even during continuous development. And all that without having to bolt on accessibility at the end.

And for products that already exist, I can help locate issues and pain points, with practical solutions and considerations to solve them. By using the WCAG-EM 2.0, the final inspection result is clear and easily transferable to your organization.

Design systems

Software is at its best when it is usable, consistent and maintainable. One of the best tools to achieve this are design systems; reusable components and principles that help your organization create consistent experiences across vastly different topics.

I work together with your designers and developers to create a design system that helps everyone be clear on how to create and update your products. Drawing from experience across many different organizations, I help focus your efforts to ensure your design system will actually be used and improve your product iterations.

Coming from a university background, I’m always willing to learn a new technology when it’s needed. But everyone has their favorites. The tech, tools and skills I’m best with:
